Valeria Luiselli reads her story “Predictions and Presentiments” from the February 16 & 23, 2026, issue of the magazine. A winner of the International Dublin Literary Award, Luiselli is the author of five books, including “Tell Me How It Ends: An Essay in 40 Questions” and “Lost Children Archive.” A new novel, “Beginning Middle End,” from which this story was adapted, will be published in July.
